Usually, you post Instagram stories in the form of images, videos, or text. However, there is a new format that you may not have used for your stories yet, which is the GIF image format. It is a popular animated image format that consists of a series of static images and is often used to create animations or short video clips.
How to post GIF images on Instagram stories
Step 1: First, open the Instagram app > Next, on the newsfeed interface, swipe right to open the camera of the app.
Step 2: Then, tap on the Create text next to the Aa icon on the right side of the screen > Now, swipe the circle at the bottom to the GIF option to add a GIF image to your story.
Step 3: The interface to add GIF images will be displayed as shown below. Tap on the search bar with a keyword that matches the GIF image you want to add > Find and select that GIF image.
Step 4: Finally, press the Done option to complete the process of adding the GIF image. Now, you can edit it as you like and then choose to post it like any other regular story. After a few seconds, your story will be displayed. It’s that simple, isn’t it?
