The Facebook app currently supports users to remix anyone’s video in public mode, which is quite interesting but also annoying for many people. So, is there a way to prevent others from remixing your videos? Let’s follow the article below to find out.
How to block others from remixing your videos
Step 1: Access the Facebook app > Tap on the Menu with the profile picture icon next to the toolbar at the bottom right > Tap on Privacy Settings.
Step 2: Tap on Settings > Scroll down and select the Reels option in the Who Can See and Comment On section.
Step 3: In the Allow others to remix your public videos in the future section, switch it to OFF. That’s it, you’re done.
When this feature is enabled, it means that anyone who is interested in your videos can create a video that contains a part or the entire content of your video and download it as a remix. Changes to this setting will only apply to new videos that you share on Facebook (not including videos you have already shared). You can turn off the remix feature for each video through the More menu on that video. And if this feature is turned off, the information above will be reversed and no longer allow it.
With the simple steps above, you can block others from remixing your videos to avoid content theft and turning it into their remix version. Save and do it now, it’s extremely useful. Wish you success.
