Frequently asked questions

It is a unique cake recipe that showcases the beauty of apples in a subtle yet mouthwatering way. The cake is infused with apple flavors and fragrances, creating a delicate and irresistible treat.

The star ingredients are apples, preferably a mix of sweet and tart varieties like Golden Delicious and Granny Smith. You’ll also need flour, baking powder, salt, butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and a touch of cinnamon for that extra warmth.

The term ‘invisible’ refers to the way the apples are incorporated into the cake. Instead of being added as chunks or slices, the apples are grated and mixed into the batter, creating a moist and fluffy texture with a subtle apple flavor in every bite.

The fragrance comes from using fresh, aromatic apples and enhancing their natural flavor with a touch of cinnamon and vanilla extract. The baking process also releases the apple’s natural fragrance, filling your kitchen with a delightful aroma.

You can decorate the cake with thin apple slices arranged in a circular pattern on top, creating a beautiful and elegant design. A light dusting of powdered sugar or a simple vanilla glaze can also add a nice touch.

Absolutely! You can experiment with different types of apples or add a twist with spices like nutmeg or cardamom. For a more indulgent treat, toss in some chopped walnuts or pecans.

The cake can be stored at room temperature for a day or two, but it’s best kept in the refrigerator, especially in warmer climates. It can last up to 4-5 days in the fridge, giving you plenty of time to enjoy it!
