A bird’s-eye view of the quaint village
We spent 3 days and 2 nights at the Little Village
During our 3D2N stay at the Little Village, we engaged in numerous exciting and challenging tourism activities such as mountain climbing, stream trekking, and sleeping in hammocks. Walking and wading through streams in the midst of nature helped us forget the fatigue and hustle of daily life. All that remained was the serene beauty of the hills, flora, and the melodic chirping of birds.

The Little Village – Ho Lang Nhot is also an intriguing camping site for visitors to explore. The village offers a variety of tents, and you can pre-book to select the best options with the most stunning views.
The village features small tents, which can be booked in advance if you plan to stay overnight.
In the afternoon, we sat on a raft and admired the sunset. As night fell, we gazed at the moon and enjoyed a delicious dinner with everyone. It was truly a magnificent sight. The higher the moon rose, the more enchanting the lake became. The full moon reflected on the water, and gentle breezes caused the water to ripple and dance with the magical light, creating a romantic and poetic ambiance.

At the Little Village, you can choose to sleep in tents or wooden houses. Regardless of your choice, you will wake up to the sunrise over Ho Lang Nhot.
It’s not just the distant sunrise or the rays of sunlight filtering through the clouds, but a painting of orange hues from dark to light that is incredibly impressive and romantic. It can be said that this is a magnificent sight rarely witnessed by us city dwellers.

Spanning 165 hectares, the Little Village dedicates over half of its area to forests, serving as a protective belt for the 80-hectare core zone, which is identified as a potential hub for sustainable tourism messaging. Despite only operating 1/10 of the first sub-area out of a total of 7, the Little Village is recognized as a model for Net Zero tourism practices, evident in its planning and construction.
“Preserving nature in this forest and stream involves numerous steps, but the core principle is to minimize human impact. We strive to communicate environmental protection messages to the locals and create job opportunities for the surrounding community, helping them realize the value of nature’s gifts,” shared Mr. San.
According to Mr. San, Net Zero tourism is the ultimate goal of the Little Village tourist area. “A sustainable tourism model relies on two key factors: nature and culture. Especially when the model is operational, there is a need for people to promote and conserve it…,” he added.
