Located in the hamlet of Pho, Muong Hoa commune, about 8 kilometers from the town center, this cafe is a hidden gem. The owner, Duong Quoc Hieu, rents a local Hmong house and rice field, adding a few bamboo and wooden huts to accommodate visitors wishing to soak in the stunning scenery and capture memorable photos.
“I avoided using concrete and steel, opting instead for eco-friendly materials like bamboo and wood, which blend harmoniously with the surrounding ecosystem,” shared Hieu. “Visitors are drawn to the quintessential charm of Sa Pa, characterized by stilt houses, wooden huts, and rice terraces.”

Spanning across 2,000 square meters of rice fields, the cafe features a wooden pathway meandering through the terraces, replacing the original dirt path. Visitors can stroll along the path or relax over a cup of coffee while breathing in the fresh air and enjoying the peaceful ambiance.
The cafe is open from 7 am until the last customer leaves. It tends to get busy on weekends, attracting hundreds of visitors. A range of familiar beverages, including smoothies and fruit juices, are on offer, priced affordably between 40,000 and 60,000 VND.
Guests can also rent traditional Hmong costumes for 50,000 VND per session, adding a cultural twist to their photo ops. For those interested in sharing a meal with the locals, advance booking is required.
