1 Overview of the Central Heritage Connection Tourist Train

Vietnam Railways Corporation, in coordination with the People’s Committees of Thua Thien Hue and Da Nang, organized the inauguration of a tourist train serving domestic and foreign tourists on the Hue – Danang railway line, named the Central Heritage Connection Tourist Train, on the morning of March 26, 2024.

This event marks a new turning point in local tourism development, offering travelers the opportunity to experience a unique journey that combines exploring the beauty and cultural heritage of Central Vietnam.

Immediately after its launch, the Central Heritage Connection Tourist Train will operate two pairs of trains daily with the codes HD1/2 and HD3/4, moving on the Hue – Danang route and vice versa. The highlight of this journey is the railway passing through Hai Van Pass – known as one of the most beautiful railway passes in the world, promising to bring unforgettable experiences to tourists.

With the launch of the Hue – Danang tourist train, passengers will not only be safely transported and save time but also have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the majestic and poetic natural scenery of Central Vietnam. 2 Ticket Price of the Central Heritage Connection Tourist Train from Hue to Danang

When in operation, the train will have 5 soft-seat air-conditioned carriages for passengers and 1 community carriage.

Currently, the ticket price for the Central Heritage Connection Tourist Train from Hue to Danang is VND 150,000/ticket. If you buy a monthly ticket, the price will be VND 900,000/ticket. For policy beneficiaries, there will be a discount from 10% – 50%.

3 Travel Time of the Central Heritage Connection Tourist Train from Hue to Danang

Experiencing 3 hours of travel on the Danang – Hue train route, visitors will be able to admire the majestic scenery of Hai Van Pass, known as the “First Wonder of the World”. During the journey, the beautiful natural scenery unfolds before your eyes, where the North and the South meet with the Truong Son mountain range on one side and the vast ocean on the other.

Two train trips depart daily, in the morning and afternoon at Hue and Da Nang stations, offering visitors the opportunity to welcome sunrise or sunset on one of the most beautiful bays in the world.

4 Schedule of the Central Heritage Connection Tourist Train from Hue to Danang

In Hue, train HD1 departs from Hue station at 7:45 am, arriving in Danang at 10:35 am; train HD3 departs from Hue station at 2:25 pm and arrives in Danang at 5:40 pm.

In Danang, train HD2 departs from Danang station at 7:50 am and arrives in Hue at 11:05 am; train HD4 departs from Danang at 3:00 pm and arrives in Hue at 5:45 pm.
