Ms. Nhat Ha, a local from Thai Binh city, shared that the province is characterized by its flat terrain and rivers, which gives its golden season a unique charm, distinct from the famous rice terraces of Ha Giang or Yen Bai provinces.
“The rice fields here are meticulously planned and laid out in perfect rectangles, unlike the terraced fields in the mountainous regions. When viewed from above, they resemble a giant quilt with patches of different shades of green and gold,” she described.
According to Ms. Ha, Tien Hai district boasts the largest rice-growing area in the province, making it an ideal spot for visitors to admire the vibrant golden scenery and capture breathtaking photos and videos.

Mr. Doan Ngoc Anh, a local photographer, recommended that the best time to capture the beauty of the golden season in Tien Hai is during the early morning or late afternoon when the weather is cool and the light is soft and gentle.
He suggested two ideal locations for photographing the golden fields in Tien Hai district: Dong Co and Dong Lam communes, located about 30km from the center of Thai Binh city.
