Then, take a chopstick and locate the indentation at the bottom of the watermelon. Slowly insert the chopstick into the indentation and push it about 3cm deep into the watermelon. By doing this, you are releasing the internal pressure, which will prevent the watermelon from cracking when you cut it.

Two tips for cutting watermelon neatly and keeping your hands clean
Method 1:
Cut the watermelon in half lengthwise. Then, cut one of the halves into round, disc-like shapes. Place these discs flat on a chopping board, preferably lined with plastic wrap. Now, cut each disc into quarters and then into 8 small triangles.
Take one of the triangles and make two cuts through the rind, dividing it into three equal parts. Remove the rind from the sides, leaving only the rind on the top, forming an “A” shape. Repeat this process for the remaining triangles and arrange them on a plate. When it’s time to eat, hold the rind, and it will feel like eating an ice cream cone, a fun treat for kids!
Cut a watermelon half into four large triangles. Take one triangle and use a knife to slice along the three corners, separating the flesh from the rind.
