According to photographers, while the mountain peak is often shrouded in clouds, not everyone is fortunate enough to capture the moment when the clouds flow like a cascading waterfall. Notably, this phenomenon occurs only briefly, requiring Bui Van Hai to remain focused and quick to capture these breathtaking visuals.

Located less than 100 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Den Mountain is a well-known spiritual destination for Southern tourists seeking tranquility and a perfect summer heat escape, as the temperature at the peak is consistently 8-10 degrees Celsius lower than in the city. Early April is also the ideal time to witness the stunning sea of clouds that envelops the mountain.

“While the southern provinces are experiencing scorching heat, the atmosphere here remains pleasantly cool,” says Bui Van Hai, adding that the frequent appearance of the white cloud sea in recent days has drawn a large number of visitors to Ba Den Mountain.

One of the most notable features at the peak of Ba Den Mountain is the Tay Bo Da Son Buddha statue, inspired by one of over 40 ancient Buddha statues in the National Relic Site of Bo Da Son. This impressive artwork stands at a total height of 72 meters and was crafted by artisans using over 170 tons of red copper. Notably, the Buddha statue has been recognized by Guinness World Records as the tallest copper Buddha statue in Asia situated on a mountain peak.
