**Using White Vinegar and Plastic Bags**
First, create a simple cleaning solution by mixing fabric softener and white vinegar in a spray bottle and shaking well to combine. Next, spray the solution onto the fan blades and cover the fan’s grill with a large plastic bag. Turn on the fan, and let the spinning blades do the work. The airflow will help disperse the cleaning solution and blow away the dirt and grime. In this solution, the detergent will help remove dust, the vinegar will soften stubborn stains, and the fabric softener will prevent dust from resettling after cleaning.
Once the blades are clean, you can spray the solution onto the grill and use a brush to wipe it down. This method will leave your fan thoroughly cleaned and fresh.

**Using Baking Soda and White Vinegar**
What you’ll need: 2 teaspoons of baking soda, 1 teaspoon of white vinegar, 250 ml of water, a few drops of dish soap, and a spray bottle for mixing.
Combine the baking soda and vinegar with water, adding a few drops of dish soap. Stir the mixture until it froths and the baking soda is fully dissolved. Pour the solution into the spray bottle. Before cleaning, be sure to unplug the fan for safety.
Spray the solution onto both sides of the fan blades to soften and remove dirt, as well as to disinfect. Let it sit for about 10 minutes, then plug the fan back in and turn it on. The spinning blades will create airflow, helping to fling the solution and carry away the dirt and grime.
**Note:** To avoid creating a mess and spreading dust indoors, position the fan in a suitable location like an outdoor area or bathroom, or use a plastic bag to cover the fan and contain the splatter.
**Using Toothpaste and a Toothbrush**
If your fan is caked with dirt and grime, squeeze about 3cm of toothpaste into a small container and dilute it with a small amount of water. Use an old toothbrush to stir the mixture and then dip the brush into the solution. Directly scrub the grooves of the fan grill and along the structural parts of the grill casing.

**Some Things to Keep in Mind When Cleaning Your Fan Without Disassembling It:**
Always unplug the fan before cleaning to ensure safety. Do not let water come into contact with the electrical parts of the fan to avoid short circuits and potential hazards. This method is most effective for fans that are not extremely dirty. If your fan is heavily soiled, this approach may not be sufficient and could even take longer than simply disassembling the fan. Regularly clean your fan using these methods, at least once every two weeks, to maintain a clean and fresh airflow in your space.
