A guide on how to send Powerpoint directly through Gmail
During your study and work, you will often need to send Powerpoint through Gmail to friends, colleagues, teachers, partners, customers… So how do you directly use Gmail to send Powerpoint? The detailed instructions will be available right below:
Step 1: You need to log in to the Gmail account you need to use.
Step 2: In the Gmail interface, select Compose. At this point, the email window will appear for you to enter the content to send. You need to enter the full items such as recipient address, subject, email content.

How to send large-sized Powerpoint files via Gmail
Sending Powerpoint through Gmail is very simple. However, sometimes you may encounter cases where the Powerpoint file size exceeds the allowable limit of Gmail. Normally, Gmail only allows attached files with a size of 25MB or less. For files larger than that, you will have a few ways to send as follows:
Compress Powerpoint files using Google Drive
Step 1: Log in to your Google Drive, then select the New option in the upper-left corner of the screen and click Upload files.
Step 2: When the Open window appears, select the Powerpoint file to be shared and then click Open to upload the file.
Step 4: Enter the recipient’s email in the Add people and groups section, then set the access rights. After completing the above steps, you click Done. Immediately, the recipients will receive a notification about the access rights you have shared.
Compress Powerpoint files using Google Slides
Step 1: You log into Google Slides, then select the Blank item to design a new Powerpoint file.
Step 2: In the Powerpoint design interface, select File and then go to Open.
Step 3: In the Open file section, you go to the Upload part and then click the Browse button. At this point, your file storage window will open, you need to upload the Powerpoint file and select in the Open section to upload it to Google Slides.
Step 4: When the process of uploading the file is completed, click Share, then enter the recipient’s Gmail address into the input box and set the access rights for the shared account, and click Send to notify them about their access rights to the PowerPoint presentation you want to share.
Compress Powerpoint files using supporting tools

Step 1: Access the website address of WeCompress: https://www.wecompress.com/
Step 2: When the website interface appears, click on the large + sign in the middle of the screen to upload the Powerpoint file to be compressed.
Step 3: When the file compression process is complete, select Download to download the file to your computer and perform the steps to send Powerpoint through Gmail as usual.
How to send Powerpoint files without accessing Gmail
In addition to sending Powerpoint files through Gmail, you can easily share files with access to the PowerPoint application.
Step 1: Access the Powerpoint application, in the File item, select Share and then select Invite People.
Step 2: After selecting Invite People, enter the recipient’s email and the accompanying content, then click Share to share the file.
