There have been a lot of rumors recently that Hanoi will have around 5 fireworks locations for the New Year’s Eve 2024. However, the representative of the Hanoi People’s Committee has confirmed that Hanoi does not have plans to have fireworks to celebrate the New Year. Instead, Hanoi is planning to have around 31 fireworks locations to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2024. Each district will have a fireworks location, and Hoan Kiem district in Hanoi will have 2 fireworks locations.

2New Year’s Eve Fireworks Locations in Ho Chi Minh City

According to the plan of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, the artistic fireworks program to welcome the New Year 2024 will take place on January 1, 2024. The fireworks program will start at 12:00 am on January 1, 2024 and last for about 15 minutes. There will be 2 main fireworks locations:

  • High-altitude fireworks location in the area near Saigon River Tunnel.
  • Low-altitude fireworks location at Dam Sen Cultural Park, District 11.

In addition, you can also join the countdown program to welcome the New Year 2024 at Ho Chi Minh President Statue Park and Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street, District 1. The program will take place on the evening of December 31, 2023.

Furthermore, on New Year’s Eve 2024, there will be an artistic fireworks display at The Global City.
