Ask questions to adults regularly
When constantly asked questions that even adults don’t know how to answer, some parents get frustrated and scold their child: “Why do you ask so many questions?”
In fact, it is good that children ask so many questions. In the IQ assessment of children, there is a section called “language IQ”. Evaluation studies have shown that most children between 0-6 years old are interrupted while speaking.
If your child can speak complete sentences by the age of 2 or speaks continuously, it is a sign that the child has a language talent.
Moreover, children who speak a lot tend to be happier, and their personal relationships in the future will be better. Those who work in professions such as MCs, journalists, public relations specialists, teachers, etc. all have eloquent qualities.
Talking to oneself
The University of Pennsylvania (USA) conducted a study that showed that language is a communication system and also a means to enhance cognition and thinking, whether in children or adults. Therefore, when children communicate with their own thoughts, it shows that their expressive ability is quite high and their brain has flexible thinking.
According to the same study, talking to oneself helps children clarify their own thoughts and prioritize what is important, helping them make more effective decisions. From this action, children will know what is necessary for themselves.
Communicating with oneself does not mean that the child has a nervous problem, but this is a solution for children to develop their thinking ability, cognition, and also help them come up with many other new ideas.
Imitation
Whatever action parents do, children always imitate them. Studies by child psychologists have shown that children who have strong imitative abilities will have a more developed brain.
Because when born, a child can only imitate simple things. The skills of the central nervous system will be greatly consolidated when a child is 2-3 years old, and this is the best time for a child to imitate.
Children imitate the language, movements, and expressions of those around them. The more they imitate, the higher the child’s IQ, and the more they imitate, the better the child’s intelligence will develop.
In daily life, the most imitated objects are parents.
Not liking to wear shoes
Many children under 3 years old are loyal “followers” of going barefoot, whether in winter or summer. Many parents will worry that their child will catch a cold and try to make them wear socks and shoes, but they turn around and see the child running barefoot.
The feet are motor organs, with 6 blood vessels, and 66 meridians, which are the focal point of many nerves. Therefore, when a child walks barefoot on the ground or steps on rocks, it can have the effect of massaging and stimulating the nerves. In addition, changes in temperature, the shape of the contact surface, etc. can give different sensations to the child, stimulating the overall development of the brain.
Moreover, the soles of children’s feet have a dense sweat gland system, which is the body’s heat regulation system for children, but it is not yet fully developed. Therefore, letting the child go barefoot also helps dissipate heat under the soles of the feet, increase blood circulation, and reduce the occurrence of cold hands and feet. When the body’s blood circulation is enhanced, the metabolic process and the child’s immune system also improve.
Logically linking information
As an adult, if you see someone turning on the oven, you can infer that the person is preparing to bake something, and it is not surprising when they offer you freshly baked cookies afterward.
This is formed when you have witnessed countless baking events, but if a child has never seen cookies before, they can still recognize that it is the end result of a process that starts when you turn on the oven.
Laughs a lot
Studies have shown that compared to normal children, children with high IQs are usually very cheerful and laugh a lot. Some children even laugh when they see others laughing. For example, the mother wears clothes inside out for the child, the father accidentally slips and falls, these things are attractive and make the child pay attention and laugh.
This only shows that the child has good observation skills and a sense of humor. At 2-3 months old, the child can already smile when teased by parents, showing their cleverness and brightness.
Mothers’ Need for Awareness of Dual Activity of Breastfeeding and Watching TV
In the contemporary world, in which technology pervades our lives, some mothers tend to soothe their babies through nursing while simultaneously watching television. Although this practice may not appear to affect the infant, studies show that it can in fact have dire repercussions on the baby’s well-being, both in terms of physical health and mental growth. In this article, we will look at the possible reasons for this activity and its potential outcomes.
