– Sweet corn: 2 cobs

– Salted egg yolks: 4 pieces

– Cornstarch

2. How to make salted egg corn

Step 1: Prepare the ingredients

– After buying sweet corn, remove the outer husk and silk. Then, wash and cut it into bite-sized pieces.

– When removing the salted egg yolks, you can add a few drops of white wine to eliminate any unpleasant odor.

– Next, put the sweet corn and salted egg yolks in a steamer and cook until tender. Then, use a knife or your hands to separate the corn kernels. And for the salted egg yolks, grind them into small pieces and place them in a separate dish.

Step 2: Fry the corn

– Take a small dish, put the separated sweet corn in it, and sprinkle cornstarch over them so that each kernel is coated with a thin layer of starch.

– Place a pan on the stove, add a little cooking oil, and heat it up. To test if the oil is hot enough, you can drop a kernel of corn into it. If you see bubbles forming around the corn, you can add the corn to the pan.

– Put the sweet corn in a small sieve and shake off the excess flour. Then, put the corn into the hot oil and fry them.

– Use a cooking utensil to gently stir and cook the corn until they turn evenly golden and float to the surface.

– Take another pan, add a small amount of cooking oil, and then add the salted egg yolks. Stir them over high heat until fully cooked.

– Then, add the fried corn into the pan and stir until the corn kernels are evenly coated with the salted egg yolks. Turn off the heat and transfer the salted egg corn to a plate for serving. Enjoy it while it’s hot.
