2. Steps to make braised pig’s feet
Step 1: Preparing the ingredients
– After buying the pig’s feet, they will be cleaned and cut into small pieces for eating and drained.
– Remove old and withered leaves of the onion, then wash and cut the white part that is suitable for eating.
– Peel and clean the ginger, then slice it.
– Peel and clean the garlic, then crush it.
Step 2: Blanching the pig’s feet
– Put a pot on the stove, pour cold water and add the pig’s feet to boil. During the process of boiling the pig’s feet, you need to use a spoon or large salt crystals to remove all the scum.
– Then, scoop out the pig’s feet and set aside in a bowl to drain.
Step 3: Braising the pig’s feet
– Add a sufficient amount of cooking oil into the pot and heat it up. Then add rock sugar and stir over low heat until the sugar melts and turns into a brown color.

– Pour enough water so that it almost covers the pig’s feet and continue to boil. Reduce the heat to the lowest level and simmer for about 1 hour.
