4 Prohibitions
No Procrastination: Parents should be strict in teaching their children to wake up early. If you want to make progress, you must start with the word ‘need’. With diligence, laziness can be overcome, with diligence, ignorance and mediocrity can be overcome, and hard work can make everything possible.
No Laziness: Throughout history, ordinary people have failed because of laziness. People choose to live a normal life because they don’t strive for excellence due to laziness.
No Extravagance: Only by achieving inner peace can one cultivate the body and mind; only through frugality and simplicity can one nurture virtues. As a human being, one must not live a luxurious life. When eating each grain of rice or each spoonful of porridge, one should think that it is not easy to have them; when wearing clothes, each thread and each piece of fabric, one should contemplate the arduous labor.
No Arrogance: Self-satisfaction will lead to waste, while humility will bring benefits. Arrogance often harms people. An arrogant person will lose the motivation to move forward. A person who is arrogant will always consider themselves superior to others and act as a commander.

Be Diligent in Studying: Diligently reading books will make your doubts more reliable. Replace ignorance with intelligence.
Respect Teachers: Being a teacher for a day is being a father for a lifetime. The teacher-student relationship in the past was much more valued than today. In ancient times, when parents took their children to study in private schools, they had to perform rituals to pay homage to the teacher.
Show Love to Everyone: Parents should teach their children to love everyone. Each person needs to have a compassionate and tolerant heart. Education should prioritize cultivating virtues, learning how to be a good person, love others, cultivate the mind and then learn knowledge, skills, and enhance capabilities.
