From 2022 to 2025, AVAKids also partnered with Operation Smile and leading hospitals to fund and complete 550 cleft lip and palate surgeries for underprivileged children, totaling VND 5.5 billion.

At the activity summary ceremony, Mr. Doan Van Hieu Em, CEO of the AVAKids mother-and-baby store chain and a member of The Gioi Di Dong Corporation (MWG), expressed his deepest gratitude to Operation Smile Vietnam, the Ho Chi Minh City Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology, leading hospitals in the field, and the team of doctors, nurses, volunteers, and especially the patients’ families, for their resilience and dedication in accompanying the children on their challenging journey to regain their smiles.
Mr. Hieu Em believes that a revived smile can open up the future. Over the years, the AVAKids team has witnessed many touching stories and the joy and happiness of children and families as the children gained the opportunity to live normal lives like their peers.
For this reason, the company will continue this humanitarian journey with the AVAKids Smile Fund in the 2025-2030 period, committing to support an additional 550 surgeries. “Every child deserves to live their childhood, to be loved, to go to school with confidence, and to dream,” Mr. Hieu Em shared emotionally.
