However, Mac Anh Thu’s response to a comment stood out. She liked a comment that opposed the idea of rekindling their romance. The comment read, “People divorce because they can’t make it work. A woman’s true happiness lies in a complete family. If they could’ve stayed together, they wouldn’t have divorced. Stop asking them to get back together.”
This interaction reaffirmed that a reunion between the former couple is unlikely. Despite their divorce, Huy Khanh and Mac Anh Thu maintain a civil relationship, co-parenting their beloved daughter and ensuring she grows up surrounded by love.

Earlier in 2025, Huy Khanh and Mac Anh Thu announced their divorce, bringing an end to their ten-year marriage. They had finalized the necessary procedures in 2023 but chose to keep the news under wraps until recently.
In an interview with Ngoi Sao, Mac Anh Thu revealed her reasons for wanting a complete separation. She shared, “Even after our split, we continued living under the same roof, which made it hard to move on. I wanted a clean break, so I decided to send our daughter abroad for her studies.”
Mac Anh Thu also addressed the challenges of being a celebrity parent: “My daughter faced immense pressure as the child of a famous couple. I wanted her to have a normal life, away from the public eye. Hence, studying abroad seemed like the best option.”
Mac Anh Thu and Huy Khanh kept their separation a secret for a year before going public.

She shared, “I felt guilty because I was the one who initiated the divorce, and he bore the brunt of public criticism. I was no longer in love and couldn’t fulfill my role as a wife. Small conflicts in our daily lives left me feeling trapped, and I ultimately decided to end the marriage.”
Currently, Mac Anh Thu resides in Finland with their daughter, juggling motherhood with her online business ventures and academic pursuits.
Huy Khanh, on the other hand, has been vocal about missing his daughter, as evident from his social media posts. When Cat Cat returned to Vietnam, he eagerly took her on a trip to their ancestral home and proudly displayed her pickleball medals.
Huy Khanh has two children: Cat Cat and a son, Tran Kien Bach (affectionately known as Ghini, born in 2005), from his first marriage to businesswoman Luong Hoang Anh. After his divorce from Luong Hoang Anh, Ghini lived with his mother in Canada. Huy Khanh maintains contact with his children through video calls and meets with them when they visit Vietnam.
