Before his second marriage, he confessed his condition to his fiancée, who nonetheless agreed to marry him. From then on, she became his companion in their journey to parenthood.
Masaki Nishina underwent excruciatingly painful surgeries to treat his infertility. His wife also endured a series of complex procedures, including medication, injections, and egg retrieval surgery. Feeling indebted to his wife, Nishina took on most of the household chores and cared for her diligently.

The couple had initially hoped for a natural birth, but due to the wife’s high blood pressure, she had to undergo a cesarean section.
Recalling the intense moment, the actor shared, “When I saw her belly being cut open, I burst into tears. The moment our son’s umbilical cord was cut was the happiest day of my life.”
A week after their son’s birth, the actor admitted that caring for a newborn was challenging, but he felt happy and grateful to be able to experience it. Masaki Nishina hopes that by sharing his story, he can contribute to a positive shift in public perception.
