“I still look gorgeous, radiant, energetic, and have good health”
– How did Phuong Oanh take care of herself during her first pregnancy?
This is my first time being a mother. I always strive to be a woman who remains radiant and beautiful no matter the circumstances or position.
I put myself on a very scientific diet. During my pregnancy, I mostly craved vegetables, fruits, and even less sweet fruits. I drank a lot of water. I craved these things because I forced myself to follow this diet. I disciplined myself and stuck to this scientific diet.
As you can see, I had a very healthy pregnancy, which proves that a “healthy mother means a healthy child”. I still look gorgeous, radiant, energetic, and have good health. Even after giving birth, I maintained my habit of drinking plenty of water and eating lots of fiber. Up to now, I still don’t eat a lot of carbohydrates; I only consume a certain amount to ensure I don’t lack any nutrients.
This is one of the reasons why, during my pregnancy, I gained weight, but most of it went to the baby, and I didn’t put on much weight myself. My arms and legs remained slim. I quickly regained my pre-pregnancy body, mostly due to my habit of drinking plenty of water, which resulted in good metabolism and the absence of fat and sugar accumulation in my body. I feel very fortunate to have such a scientific diet. My pregnancy journey and my life as a new mother have been positive, rational, radiant, and beautiful.
– Aside from your diet, how did you exercise to regain your figure quickly after giving birth?
Before planning to get pregnant, I had been practicing yoga for a year. During my pregnancy, I stopped practicing for the first three months due to morning sickness, but I resumed my yoga practice for the remaining months, attending classes two to three times a week. In the last month of pregnancy, I reduced my physical activity due to the heaviness of my bump. Because I gave birth via C-section, I started yoga again four months after giving birth and also took up sports that made me sweat a lot, like pickleball. A scientific and disciplined diet, along with a reasonable exercise plan, helped me regain my pre-pregnancy body.

– How has your family supported you in your journey as a new mother?
As a mother, I want to embody the image of a modern woman who can take good care of her children while still pursuing her passions and shining in her way.
To achieve this, I had to manage my time scientifically. Of course, I couldn’t have done it without the support of my mother-in-law and other family members. Whenever I needed to take care of the children, I had someone to help me since I have twins. When I had to work or take some time for self-care, someone else would take care of the babies.
Fortunately, everything has been going well. My children are cooperative, sociable, and supportive. So far, everything has been great, from the help I receive to the behavior of my children.
– How has your husband supported you in taking care of the children?
My husband has always been by my side. In the coming journey, the children and I will be working in the south. My husband and other family members will accompany us so that I can be at ease and not worry too much about being away from my children for an extended period. As you know, it’s challenging to be away from your children during this time.
Shark Binh always supports and encourages Phuong Oanh.
– What are the personalities of Phuong Oanh’s twin children like?
The personalities of my two children are completely opposite, just like their genders. My daughter, Jenny, is always gentle, calm, and serene. My son, Jimmy, is very active. The two siblings are like two different colors, worlds, and extremes when they are together.
People often say that twins tend to cry and get sick simultaneously. But currently, my two children are entirely different. When one cries, the other doesn’t. They are very understanding, which makes me happy and relaxed.
Phuong Oanh reveals that her twins have contrasting personalities.
“My husband always understands the nature of my work”
– Participating in “Dancing with the Stars” will inevitably involve intimate interactions with male dance partners. Has your husband set any “rules” for Phuong Oanh?
My husband doesn’t know how to be jealous (laughs). I’m just joking; he always understands the nature of my work. He respects and supports my career.
– How has Phuong Oanh been practicing for the program in the past few days?
I genuinely love dancing, and you can see that through my social media pages. However, I still have many limitations, so the training journey has been incredibly challenging. After a few practice sessions, I experienced muscle soreness and body aches. I also pushed myself too hard because I wanted to perform better. Going forward, I think I need to be more careful and take better care of my health to avoid any unwanted incidents.
– Why did Phuong Oanh choose to participate in this program instead of something less physically demanding, especially since it’s only been about five months since she gave birth?
I think this decision is quite bold, and it will undoubtedly come with many challenges. I always want to push beyond my limits and aspire to be a dynamic, modern, and passionate “mother in diapers,” allowing myself to burn with my passion and hobbies.
Phuong Oanh states that Shark Binh “doesn’t know how to be jealous” and acknowledges the boldness of her decision to participate in a dance program just five months after giving birth.
– What are Phuong Oanh’s plans for returning to showbiz?
Regarding film, I need a more extended journey, more time, and more effort. My passion still burns fiercely, and I have much to contribute to my passion. I still want the opportunity to continue burning with my audience’s love.
In the future, I will try to balance everything better. Hopefully, there will be an occasion, a suitable role, and a chance to truly contribute, and I will return.
– Does Phuong Oanh plan to move to the south (of Vietnam) in the future?
I have passions and loves for my work. If I have the opportunity to move south, I will balance my time between the north and the south to contribute more to my audience.
– How does Phuong Oanh assess her competitors in the program?
Everyone dances beautifully. I still have many limitations in my movements because, after more than a year of pregnancy and childbirth, I didn’t exercise much. So now, I see that I have a lot to learn. I admire the other artists. However, everyone has their strategy. Please look forward to it and support me and the other contestants!
– What pressure does Phuong Oanh feel when participating in “Dancing with the Stars”?
My primary pressure is health-related. Since I just gave birth, there are many limitations, and many things are unpredictable. So I’m very careful to maintain the best health possible to complete the program and take care of my children. Although there is pressure, I will try to turn it into motivation to contribute more to my audience.
