Headquartered in London, UK, Brand Finance stands as the world’s leading independent brand valuation consultancy, operating in 27 countries and territories. With its global network and extensive expertise, the organization spearheads the establishment of international standards in brand valuation, earning the trust of businesses, investors, and regulatory bodies worldwide.

According to the recently released “Food & Drink 2025” report by Brand Finance, Vinamilk remains the only Southeast Asian brand featured in the Top 10 most valuable dairy brands globally. This achievement solidifies Vinamilk’s position as the region’s representative on the global nutrition map. Vietnam, driven by Vinamilk’s significant contributions, has risen to the 5th position, accounting for 5.8% of the global dairy industry’s total brand value, surpassing even the United States (4.1%) and Finland (4.5%), nations with long-standing histories in the food sector.

Notably, Vinamilk has been recognized as the most promising dairy brand globally in 2025, outperforming giants from China and India with its superior ranking score. This marks the fourth consecutive year Vinamilk has secured a spot in the Top 3 most promising dairy brands worldwide since the ranking’s inception. The evaluation is based on strategic indicators such as customer willingness to recommend the brand, acceptance of premium pricing, trust from financial experts, and long-term growth potential.

This year also marks Vinamilk’s first-ever AAA+ rating, the highest on Brand Finance’s brand strength scale, indicating an exceptionally strong brand with superior market share retention, recognition, trust, and profitability compared to competitors. This rating places Vinamilk on par with leading dairy brands from India and Finland, and above many top European and American names. As a result, Vinamilk has significantly ascended the global food industry rankings, becoming Vietnam’s sole representative in the Top 30 most valuable brands.

In terms of the Brand Strength Index (BSI) – the foundational metric for calculating brand value according to Brand Finance’s methodology – Vinamilk is recognized among the Top 5 food brands with the highest BSI globally in 2025.

“A well-managed brand not only delivers measurable value through customer attraction and retention but also enhances talent appeal, investor confidence, and organizational agility. In today’s market, a strong brand is not just an asset – it’s a survival strategy,” stated David Haigh, Chairman and CEO of Brand Finance.

Relentless Standard Elevation: Vinamilk’s Secret to Sustainable Brand Strength

For brands at the global forefront, ranking positions cannot stem from short-term campaigns. In Vinamilk’s case, the core factor lies in its nearly five-decade-long consistent philosophy: never compromising on quality. In recent years, this philosophy has evolved into a comprehensive strategy of “relentless standard elevation.”

A prime example of this vision is the launch of the “White Revolution” and the development of internationally standardized farm systems since the early 1990s, aiming for self-sufficiency in fresh milk raw materials. Today, Vinamilk manages a leading regional dairy herd, with over 130,000 cows cared for under European Organic and Global S.L.P. standards. This system not only ensures high-quality milk input but also maintains a stable supply capacity, producing over 1.1 million liters of premium fresh milk daily.

Alongside its comprehensive 2023 rebranding, this national brand has set unprecedented standards in Vietnam. Key product lines have been continuously innovated with world-leading technologies: dual vacuum technology for “fresh-locking” Vinamilk Green Farm milk, ultrafiltration for high-protein, calcium-rich, low-fat, lactose-free products, and Vietnam’s first 6 HMO-infused milk powder. These innovations not only enhance product offerings but also elevate market nutrition standards, inspiring industry peers.

Recent market dynamics have further bolstered Vinamilk’s advantages. Amid declining consumer trust due to counterfeit and substandard goods, brands with rigorous control systems from farm to distribution, backed by internationally recognized quality certifications, have become preferred choices. This is how Vinamilk sustains consumer trust and loyalty – a factor highly valued by Brand Finance in BSI scoring.

Beyond core quality, Vinamilk demonstrates agility in adapting to emerging consumer trends, notably personalized consumption. Its product portfolio continually expands to cater to specific customer segments: from premium gelato, high-protein Greek yogurt, and kombucha for health-conscious youth, to 9-grain milk and high-calcium soy milk for health-focused consumers.

Financially, Vinamilk maintains steady growth, strengthening domestic competitiveness while expanding internationally. Its presence on major retail platforms like Amazon in the U.S. not only generates revenue but also enhances brand visibility in demanding markets.
