Ginger is most effective when consumed in the morning and following a cycle of one week on and one week off. To prepare, peel and crush the ginger, boil it, and drink the water. Those taking medication for blood thinning, blood pressure reduction, or blood sugar control should monitor their condition or use the lowest possible dose.
