Rounding rule for multiple-choice exams

The multiple-choice examination board will round to 2 decimal places for each exam and each component subject in the combination exam. The examination boards will adhere to the use of exam codes and subject codes as specified by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) during the data processing process. Additionally, the Examination Council will ensure timely updates and reporting to MOET throughout the implementation process.

Rounding of re-evaluation results

As per the regulations in Clause 4, Article 33 of the Regulations on high school graduation exam, in case of re-evaluation, if the scores assigned by two out of three examiners are the same, the re-evaluation score will be the same as that score.

In cases where the re-evaluation scores assigned by all three examiners are different, the Head of the Essay Re-evaluation Board will calculate the average score of the three evaluations and round to 2 decimal places to obtain the final re-evaluation score. Subsequently, the Head of the Board will sign to confirm this re-evaluation score.

In 2023, the ÐXTN for high school graduation will include the scores of the exams that candidates have taken to be considered for high school graduation, along with priority points and encouragement points (if any), plus the average score of the entire 12th grade. The scores for each exam will be converted to a scale of 10 to calculate ÐXTN.
