Food Storage Area
To have a convenient and time-saving kitchen, organizing your refrigerator is crucial.
The refrigerator should be placed at the outer edge of the kitchen for easy access to food before cooking. Place it on your dominant side, either left or right.

Appliance Area
Make use of the space next to the refrigerator by installing a built-in microwave and oven. Having them close to the refrigerator makes it convenient to defrost food right after taking it out.
Below the microwave and oven, you can design 2 cabinets to store essential items like plastic wraps, zip bags, gloves, etc. Organizing these items scientifically will help you save time and effort when using the refrigerator, microwave, and oven.
The space above the refrigerator can be utilized by installing additional cabinets to store less frequently used cookware and utensils. Arranging the storage areas logically will result in a neat, tidy, and convenient kitchen.

2 Arrange by Technical Factors
The refrigerator, microwave, and oven should be placed close together to create a beautiful and functional kitchen. Logical arrangement will save time and improve space utilization.
The cooking area should have a minimum clearance of 30cm on both sides for safety and convenience.
The ideal clearance for the sink is 45-60cm on either side.
If the sink and cooktop are in a straight line, the distance between them should be more than 60cm to prevent water from splashing onto the cooktop and for safety reasons.
For base cabinets, the ideal height is 80-81cm, and the depth is 60-62cm, which suits the stature of Vietnamese people and provides comfort during cooking. For wall cabinets, the ideal height is 70-80cm, and the depth is 35cm, ensuring enough storage space and easy access to items.
