1. Bathroom odor remover
The first thing you might think of is room spray. However, they not only don’t completely eliminate unpleasant odors but also make the bathroom smell completely artificial.
A simple tip is to use ground coffee to eliminate odors. You just need to put the coffee in a wide-mouthed bowl or plate and leave it in the bathroom. The coffee will absorb all the bad smells, making the room smell like coffee, which is very pleasant.
2. Dehumidify
Moisture is the main culprit for odors. Don’t hang damp towels in the bathroom, especially in small bathrooms. After bathing, hang them in a well-ventilated area to dry quickly.
In addition, salt is a very useful moisture absorber. A small bowl of salt can be used for 2 to 3 months until the salt turns brown or black. That is a sign that the salt has reached saturation and can no longer absorb moisture.
3. Brighten the faucet
You can try the following simple trick to clean the faucet, which is using a little baby oil, makeup remover, rubbing lime or vinegar. It ensures that the faucet will be shiny and spotless.
4. Scrub the toilet bowl
Toilet bowl cleaner has an unpleasant smell. Instead of having to wear a mask and gloves, you just need to prepare vinegar and baking soda (which can be easily purchased at baking supply stores) with a ratio of 1 cup of vinegar + 1 tablespoon of baking soda. Pour the mixture into the toilet bowl and wait for 15-30 minutes, then flush. However, don’t forget to scrub the outside and back of the toilet bowl, where there are many bacteria.
5. Clean the mirror
Cleaning the mirror to make it shiny is not easy if you don’t know how. Using glass cleaner and a dirty cloth can easily leave streaks and lint.
You can try cleaning with concentrated tea. Pour the tea into a spray bottle for the mirror, then wipe with a newspaper. Ensure that your mirror will be shiny like new.
6. Clean the tile grout
Stubborn dirt in the tile grout can be tough if you don’t handle it properly. Using baking soda and vinegar will save you a lot of time and, above all, is safer than using chemical cleaners.
First, sprinkle some baking soda over the dirty grout. Then use a spray bottle to moisten the powder with vinegar. Wait for about 3-5 minutes, the dust will gradually break up, then you just need to lightly brush and your wall and floor will be as clean as new.
