Foam from boiling and steam carries food molecules from the pot onto the stove, which if not regularly cleaned, will become dirty and difficult to clean. In addition, glass pots, although they look elegant and eye-catching, are easy to get dirty and hard to clean.

Glass pots are very prone to accumulate oil, grease, and dirt on the edges or in the gaps that regular cleaning methods cannot effectively clean. However, if you know the trick to clean a pot in three minutes, you will find that this is no longer a problem.

Trick to clean a pot in three minutes

To clean glass pots or pots with long-lasting stains, follow these steps:

Rub dish soap all over the surface of the pot, both on the top and bottom.

Boil a pot of water and cover the pot you want to clean with it so that the boiling water and soap cover the entire surface of the pot. The hot steam will penetrate into the gaps, melting the grease and stains. After 2 minutes, flip the pot over and continue boiling to completely dissolve the grease on the surface.
Remove the pot to the sink, rinse off the dirt and detergent on it. If necessary, you can scrub it again.
With this method, your pot will be quickly cleaned within 3-4 minutes.

In addition to the above method, you can also try the following ways to clean a pot:

Clean a pot with salt and flour

Preparation: Salt, flour, dish scrubber.

Procedure: Dampen the pot lid with warm water. Sprinkle salt evenly on the lid, salt has the ability to clean and disinfect effectively, removing bacteria that exist under the dirt.

Evenly sprinkle a layer of flour on the pot so it can absorb the dirt and grease that stick onto it.

Use the dish scrubber to scrub around the pot carefully to clean the dirt sticking to it, then rinse thoroughly with water to have a shiny, clean pot.

Clean a pot with paper towels

Preparation: Paper towels, white vinegar, dish scrubber.

Procedure: Spread 5-10 sheets of paper towels on the lid so that the paper towels cover the entire lid. Pour white vinegar directly onto the paper towels until they are evenly wet, then stop. Leave it for 25-30 minutes.

Remove all the paper towels from the lid, the grease and dirt will be removed along with the used paper towels, including stubborn dirt.

Use the dish scrubber to scrub the lid again, then rinse with water to have a shiny lid and remove the strong smell of vinegar.

Notes for keeping the pot clean and shiny

Clean the pot immediately after cooking.

Do not soak the pot in dirty water or touch too much oil and grease.

After washing, place the pot on a dry and clean shelf, making sure it is secure.

Do not use strong cleaning chemicals that corrode the pot and change its color; when cleaning, do not scrub too hard, and avoid using a iron sponge to scrub.

If the dirt is too thick and deep in the gaps, you should use a tool to scrape it off and use specialized cleaning agents to clean it.
