Heavy traffic and flooding regularly occur on many roads in Ho Chi Minh City, especially during peak hours or holidays. The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transportation has collaborated with Zalo to launch a feature that monitors traffic congestion and flooding through images from 685 traffic cameras located throughout the city’s roads.

In addition to the camera observation feature, this tool can also automatically send messages to users if there is any new information about traffic accidents causing congestion, road closures, or restricted access due to construction.

To view the Ho Chi Minh City traffic cameras through the Zalo app on your Android or iPhone, you can follow the steps below:

Step 1: Download the latest version of the Zalo app for Android or iPhone and install it on your device.

Step 2: After updating to the latest version, launch the Zalo app. On the main interface of the app, tap on the search icon at the top of the screen. Enter the keyword “traffic information.”

Step 3: Once you have successfully entered this keyword, select the search result for “Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Information” and choose to “Follow” this information.

Step 4: You will be taken to the interface that provides updates on the traffic situation in the city. Tap on the “Nearby” section. Immediately, the system will display information about the list of cameras in the vicinity of your current location. Tap on a camera to confirm your selection.
