Hello everyone, today I would like to share with you a very effective experience that I have tried, which is: Reverse Hair Washing. This method means that we reverse the normal hair washing process by conditioning hair before shampooing.
The story is that in recent months, I have seen people sharing the “reverse hair washing” method to reduce hair loss. I am someone who follows the IF diet all year round and recently switched to EC, so my hair loss is quite a lot – especially after shampooing and conditioning. I have tried the “reverse hair washing” method in the hope of saving my hair, and the results are truly amazing. After conditioning and shampooing, my hair tends to fall out less, with only a few strands left, and it is also softer and less tangled. A simple experience with a not-so-simple result.
Below are the products and steps I use for “reverse hair washing”:
Step 1: Wet your hair and apply conditioner or hair mask (avoid applying to the scalp as it can cause dandruff and quick greasiness), then leave it on for 5-10 minutes.
Step 2: Rinse off the conditioner and use shampoo as usual.
Step 3: Gently pat dry your hair with a towel (Note: just pat, do not rub vigorously), at this point, your hair is still slightly damp, apply coconut oil to your hands, evenly distribute it, massaging the ends of your hair and then blow-dry gently.
Below Huynh Nhi’s sharing, there are also many other women sharing their reverse hair washing experience:
– I have been using this method for years, my hair falls out less and it is very bouncy and less greasy.
– I have also been doing this for a while now, the difference is amazing. After shampooing and blow-drying, my hair is more voluminous, softer, and falls out less.
– My suggestion is to only use this method once a week because using it too often is not good.
– I just tried it yesterday. After shampooing, my hair was extremely dry, so dry that I thought I was being pranked and even considered applying conditioner again, but I decided to stick to it and see how it goes. Surprisingly, when my hair dried, it was incredibly soft, not dry like traditional shampooing, and I’m still waiting to see if it will get tangled.
– Washing my hair this way makes it really smooth.
