This collaboration underscores the company’s commitment to environmental protection and its appreciation for customers who share this concern. The Gioi Di Dong forges a partnership with Limloop, a subsidiary of Hali Care, a company dedicated to recycling plastic bags, banners, and posters.

Embracing the principles of circular and green economics, The Gioi Di Dong has been actively engaged in initiatives to reduce plastic and CO2 emissions. The company is not just paying lip service to environmental causes but is taking concrete and meaningful actions.

Building on their previous efforts, such as installing old battery collection bins, adopting solar energy systems, and recycling waste into organic fertilizer, The Gioi Di Dong is now joining forces with Limloop, a Hali Care company that specializes in recycling plastic bags, banners, and posters, and employs a majority of people with disabilities.

Handing over banners at one of their supermarkets, with the initial goal of collecting approximately 1,000 kg/month.

As part of this collaboration, Limloop will collect banners and posters from The Gioi Di Dong’s supermarket chains, including thegioididong.com, Dien May XANH, and Nha Thuoc An Khang, and transform them into fashionable bags.

The initial phase of this partnership will focus on Ho Chi Minh City, with plans to expand nationwide. It is estimated that around 1,000 kg of banners will be collected each month during this initial stage.

Over the years, Limloop has established itself in the market with its unique and innovative product line. Since 2021, they have recycled nearly two tons of various types of nylon. Banners and posters are the next materials that Limloop will focus on in the future.
