This dish does not require frying, the preparation is very simple. You only need about 20 minutes to have a delicious and eye-catching dish for the whole family.

How to make:
Step 1: Soak the oyster mushrooms in clean water for a while and gently wash them, wash both sides gently, otherwise the oyster mushrooms will easily break. Then, set aside to drain.
Step 2: Cut off the stem and legs of the mushrooms, then arrange the mushrooms evenly on a plate, layer by layer.
Step 3: Crack a quail egg into each mushroom.
Step 4: Steam the mushrooms and quail eggs over high heat for about 20 minutes. While waiting, let’s make the sauce.
Step 5: Make the sauce. First, wash and peel half of a prepared carrot, then cut it into small cubes. Next, put the diced carrot in a bowl, add a little sugar, a little light soy sauce, a moderate amount of black pepper, and a bit of cornstarch. Stir well with a spoon and set aside.
Step 6: After steaming the mushrooms and quail eggs until they are fully cooked, remove them and let them cool. Then heat the cooking oil and pour in the prepared sauce, bring the sauce to a boil until it becomes foamy and thickens. Then, add the oyster mushrooms on top and cook for a while until the sauce thickens.
Finally, you can garnish with cilantro or finely chopped green onions to make the dish more appealing.
Note:
1. The oyster mushrooms must be thoroughly cleaned. They have many tiny particles that are not visible to the naked eye. However, some people believe that soaking the oyster mushrooms will absorb too much water during the cleaning process, causing them to become mushy and not delicious. Therefore, after washing the oyster mushrooms, you can squeeze them to release the water inside.
2. When steaming the mushrooms and quail eggs, first bring the water to a boil in the pot, then add the mushrooms and eggs, steam over high heat for 20 minutes.
3. In the final stir-frying step, use high heat to cook quickly, this will make the dish more flavorful and the sauce thicker.
