Government officials, employees, and workers in administrative, public service, political, and socio-political organizations will enjoy a consecutive 7-day break, starting from Wednesday, February 10, 2021, to Tuesday, February 16, 2021 (from the 29th of the last lunar month of the Year of the Rat to the 5th day of the first lunar month of the Year of the Buffalo).

Note: Agencies and units that do not follow a fixed Saturday and Sunday weekend schedule will base their Tet holiday arrangements on their specific programs and plans.
For employees in other sectors, the labor regulations allow employers to choose one of the following two options:
Option 1: One day off at the end of the Year of the Rat, and four days off at the beginning of the Year of the Buffalo.
Option 2: Two days off at the end of the Year of the Rat, and three days off at the beginning of the Year of the Buffalo.
