1 Korean Visa Application
To prepare your Korean visa application, you will need the following documents:

Original passport with at least six months’ validity and blank pages for the visa.

One visa application form according to the format provided by the Korean Embassy.

Savings account with a balance of over 5,000 USD (financial proof is exempt for those who have traveled to OECD countries).

2 Korean Visa Application Procedure
Online Appointment Registration
Before submitting your application, you need to make an online appointment and submit your application on the KVAC website (Korea Visa Application Center). The following is a guide on how to make an appointment and submit your application online:
Step 1: Access the appointment registration page. Depending on your residence registration, you will access the registration page in Hanoi or the registration page in Ho Chi Minh City.
Step 2: Set the appointment date
Choose the date you want to submit your application. Red days are available, and gray days are fully booked and cannot be selected.

Choose from the available time slots in the appointment setting.
After selecting the main time slot, choose a sub-time slot, which will last 15 minutes according to the main time slot you have chosen.

Submit Your Application at the KVAC Visa Application Center
After making an online appointment, you can submit your application at the Korea Visa Application Center (KVAC). Before submitting, you need to review the order of your documents and check if anything is missing. When submitting your application, please note the following:

Dress appropriately, arrive early in the morning, preferably at 8:30 am.

Go to the reception desk on the first floor and present your ID card (citizen ID) or driver’s license.

Get an access card at the reception desk to go upstairs and get a number.

Take a seat in the waiting room until your number is called.

Proceed to the application submission counter when it is your turn.

Pay the fee at the payment counter (you will receive a receipt and stamp).

Get your appointment slip and wait for the result.

4 Korean Visa Fees
Currently, the Korean visa fees paid to the Embassy/Consulate General are:

5 How Long is the Korean Tourist Visa Valid For?

Typically, it only takes 12 working days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and Embassy holidays) from the date of receiving a complete application for you to obtain your Korean Visa.
