2 How to Cook Rice with Toshiba Rice Cooker
Step 1 Rinse the Rice
Place 4 cups of rice in a bowl and rinse it thoroughly. Then, put the rice into the rice cooker and add water according to the water level indicator. For 4 cups of rice, the water level should be at the “4” mark under “White Rice” inside the cooker.
Tip:
– If you don’t have the rice measuring cup, you can use a condensed milk can. One can is equivalent to two rice cups.
– The rice cup usually has a capacity of 160ml
Rinsing the rice
Step 2 Cook the Rice
Close the lid of the rice cooker, plug it in, and press the “Cook” button. The “White Rice” button will light up, and the cooker will start cooking the rice.
Note: You can adjust the cooking time by pressing the “Timer” button.
Rice cooker starts cooking
When the rice is cooked, the display will show “0h,” and the “Keep Warm” light will turn on, indicating that the rice cooker has automatically switched to the keep-warm mode. Now, all you need to do is open the lid, fluff the rice, and enjoy!
If you don’t want to keep the rice warm, press the “Cancel” button to turn off the keep-warm mode.
