Today’s pepper prices in the domestic market ranged from 76,000 – 78,500 VND/kg in the major growing areas.
Specifically, the latest pepper prices in the following provinces are as follows:
- Dong Nai reported the lowest price at 76,000 VND/kg
- Gia Lai had a price of 76,500 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND/kg
- In Dak Lak and Dak Nong, the price was 77,500 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND/kg
- Binh Phuoc reported a price of 77,500 VND/kg
- The highest price was observed in Ba Ria – Vung Tau at 78,500 VND/kg
Today’s pepper prices witnessed an increase of 500 VND/kg in the Central Highlands provinces compared to the same time yesterday. Currently, the COVID-19 situation is more challenging in the Southeast region compared to the Central Highlands, resulting in more active trading activities in Dak Lak and Dak Nong compared to Ba Ria and Binh Phuoc.
The price difference between the two regions has narrowed down to 1,000 – 2,000 VND/kg from the previous range of 2,000 – 3,000 VND/kg.
