The Beauty Benefits of Coffee Oil
Lip Treatment for Dark Lips
Coffee oil can be applied directly to the lips as a nourishing lip oil to reduce pigmentation and dark spots. For best results, use it as an overnight treatment. Alternatively, you can also mix a few drops of coffee oil with some shea butter and whip it into a lip butter.
Under-Eye Circles
Coffee oil is excellent for reducing the appearance of dark circles. You can directly apply one or two drops under the eyes and gently massage the area. Additionally, you can make your own eye cream by mixing a few drops of coffee oil with some shea butter and jojoba oil. Combine the ingredients and use the mixture as an eye cream.
Brightening Face Oil
Mix coffee oil with jojoba oil in equal proportions and use it as a nourishing facial oil before bedtime. Alternatively, you can also add a few drops of coffee oil directly to your regular night cream and mix well before application.
Facial Serum
Add a few drops of coffee oil to two tablespoons of commercial aloe vera gel, one teaspoon of melted shea butter, and one teaspoon of rose water. Whip the ingredients together and transfer the mixture into an easy-to-use pump bottle. Use this blend as a facial serum.
Hair Shine Treatment
This oil can be applied directly to the hair strands while they are still damp after shampooing to seal in moisture and promote shine. Alternatively, you can add a few drops of coffee oil to your regular hair serum to enhance shine and control frizz.
Coffee Face Cleanser
To make your own coffee face wash, mix equal parts of liquid Castile soap and rose water (1/2 cup each), and then add two teaspoons of coffee oil. Gently stir the mixture and transfer it into an easy-to-use pump bottle. Use this as your regular face wash for soft, supple skin and an instant boost of freshness, especially in the mornings.
Deep Conditioning Hair Mask
Combine one large banana with two to three teaspoons of coffee oil and a drizzle of honey. Apply this mixture as a hair mask and wash it off after 3-4 hours for super smooth and shiny hair.
Coffee Oil Recipe
Mix oil with coffee grounds and heat them together using a double boiler for an hour. Strain the oil through muslin cloth and squeeze out as much of the extract as possible. Transfer the mixture into a dropper bottle and use as needed. If you prefer not to heat the oil, you can also infuse the coffee grounds in a carrier oil at room temperature for a month in a dark place before straining.
