Especially with the upcoming rice harvest season, along with Mu Cang Chai (Yen Bai) and Ta Van – Y Ty (Lao Cai), Ban Phung in Hoang Su Phi will be a super hot destination for travelers.
Not everyone can easily access this view, as the journey from Hanoi to Hoang Su Phi is quite far and challenging, and even more so for those coming from the southern provinces.
However, in recent years, many families have chosen to travel by private car to Ha Giang, so the number of visitors to Ban Phung has increased, especially in September.

Mr. Trong Phu, the owner of the homestay, shared that cars can drive directly to the homestay. There are two types of rooms to choose from: private rooms and dorm-style rooms.
The dorm-style rooms cost 120,000 VND per person, while the private rooms are priced at 700,000 VND. The private rooms offer a stunning view and are equipped with modern amenities. The bathrooms are brand new and spotlessly clean. From each room, you can simply step out onto the balcony to capture countless beautiful photos or relax and take in the natural surroundings.
The homestay offers affordable dorm-style rooms for larger groups. The price of the private room is also reasonable. This year, Mr. Trong Phu renovated the private room to make it more spacious.
As the village has few restaurants, the homestay also provides meals for guests. The food is prepared in the authentic style of the local people, allowing guests to experience the unique highland cuisine.
