“A Man Who Doesn’t Need to Lift a Finger on October 20th is a Blessing, Says MC Dan Le”

"These special days, be it the 20th of October or the 8th of March, should only serve as a reminder of what we should always keep in mind,” shared MC Dan Le.

Recently, Dan Le shared her thoughts on gifts that men give to women on Vietnamese Women’s Day on October 20th. According to her, if a woman has a man who doesn’t need to do anything on October 20th, it means that she is happy.

After over a decade of marriage, MC Dan Le remains happy with her husband, Director Khai Anh.

Initially, many people might find her viewpoint confusing and somewhat illogical. Why would a man not needing to do anything on October 20th make a woman happy? However, after hearing Dan Le’s explanation, everyone understood and agreed with her perspective.

Dan Le expressed: “If you have a man who doesn’t need to do anything on October 20th, it means you’re happy. In a sense, this statement makes sense because a woman doesn’t need big or small gifts if she is the most valuable gift that God has given him.”

“A woman doesn’t need her man to do all the housework so she can rest for a day if he shares the chores with her every day. A woman also doesn’t need to hear words of love or cheesy pick-up lines if he loves her every day.”

“And if a woman feels like she wants a lot, it means she feels something is lacking, and she needs special occasions to receive more attention and compensation. So, treat your woman as if every day is a special occasion.”

“More than anyone else, women deserve to be loved, supported, and allowed to be themselves in the most fulfilling way. And October 20th and March 8th should only serve as days to emphasize this even more.”

Regarding the term “happiness,” she previously shared that there is no universal definition of happiness, as one person’s happiness may not be the same as another’s. According to Dan Le, happiness comes not only from knowing when enough is enough but also from being at peace with one’s choices.

Perhaps Director Khai Anh is the “most valuable gift that God has given her,” and perhaps because Dan Le knows when enough is enough and is at peace with her choices, her marriage, despite going through many ups and downs, remains as sweet and happy as ever.

Holidays should only emphasize the love between husband and wife.

The meaning of holidays is to make those days different from other days and to make those moments stand out from the rest. Those who truly love you will not only say it but also show it through romantic surprises on special days and daily gestures such as:

– Doing housework with your wife:

Marriage is about elevating the love between two people, not just one person’s busyness. Doing housework has never been solely the wife’s responsibility. In a marriage, there is no such thing as who should do what; it’s about what you’re willing to do for your partner and your family.

Usually, the couple will divide the housework. But on special days, if the husband takes the initiative to do everything to let his wife rest, that’s true happiness.

In a marriage, the man’s attitude towards housework determines the temperature of the relationship. A man who doesn’t know how to care for his wife will never see her struggles and will take everything for granted. In such a marriage, the woman’s heart will gradually grow cold.

In reality, a woman doesn’t ask for much. Just giving her a cup of hot water, washing some dishes, taking care of the children, and doing some housework to the best of your ability can heal her heart.

But it’s not just on holidays that women need more attention. On regular days, the three warmest words a man can say to a woman are “I’m here.” These three words can double happiness when there is someone to share them with, just as housework is halved when shared. A good marriage is about understanding each other’s positions, and love is about both partners helping each other when the other is tired.

– Making time for his wife no matter how busy he is:

Lu Xun once said: “Time is like water in a sponge; if you squeeze it, you will always find time.” This is not an exaggeration when applied to relationships.

Any relationship requires time investment. If a relationship lacks a foundation of harmony and companionship, it’s like a tall building without a solid foundation. Once it encounters a fierce storm, it will collapse immediately.

When a man is willing to make time for you, he must have you in his heart. Conversely, if someone says they love you but never makes time or puts in effort for you, their heart is no longer with you. Reminding you to eat breakfast, reminding you to bring an umbrella when it rains, reminding you to take your medicine when you’re sick… these are just words of concern, far less meaningful than him making you breakfast, handing you an umbrella, or buying medicine for you.

Or on holidays, even if he’s extremely busy, a man who deeply loves you will never leave you alone. He will handle his work first, arrange his schedule, and come home early to celebrate the holiday with you. Even if he’s on a business trip or somewhere else, he will take the initiative to call you and show his care, or make it up to you in other ways.

Deep affection needs no words. What women value is not so much what men say but how they express their love through actions. The best gift on a holiday is having your loved one by your side! You can’t hide your love for someone. Even if you cover your mouth, your eyes will still reveal it.
