2. How to make lotus root meatballs
Step 1: Prepare the ingredients
– After buying pork shoulder, wash and cut it into small pieces.
– Wash the lotus root and carrot, peel them, and then cut them into pearl shapes.
– Peel the garlic, wash it, and chop it finely. Peel the ginger, rinse it with clean water, and thinly slice it.
– Remove any damaged or fading leaves from the spring onion, wash them, and chop them finely.
Step 2: Grind the ingredients
– Put the pork shoulder and ginger into a grinder, then grind it into small pieces and put them in a bowl.
– Continue to put the pearl-shaped lotus root and carrot into the grinder to grind them.
Step 3: Mix the ingredients
– Take a large bowl, add the ground pork and the mixture of lotus root and carrot.
– Then, add finely chopped spring onion, cornstarch, ground black pepper, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, and beat the egg.
