1. Use a complex password
To switch to using alphanumeric passwords on iPhone, you can access Settings – Face ID and Passcode or Touch ID and Passcode, enter your current passcode, and then select Change Passcode.

Re-enter your current passcode once again, then tap on the Passcode option link above the keyboard, and choose Custom Alphanumeric Code from the dropdown menu.
From now on, you can set a password for your iPhone by using digits, lowercase letters, uppercase letters, and special characters on the keyboard to enhance security. For example, press 123 to select numbers and special characters.

2. Enable Face ID or Touch ID authentication

Next, users only need to provide a phone number to receive verification codes when signing in and follow the on-screen instructions until completion.
4. Limit access to your lock screen
To ensure personal information is always secure, you should limit access to items on the lock screen of your iPhone.
First, you can go to Settings – Face ID and Passcode or Touch ID and Passcode, and enter your passcode when prompted.
Next, simply scroll down and toggle off options such as Control Center, Notifications Center, Reply with Message, etc. to avoid potential exploitation of information from the lock screen.
