However, recently on iPhone, users can download the Vạn Niên Calendar app and then view the lunar calendar right on the lock screen. Follow the instructions below.

How to view the lunar calendar outside of the iPhone lock screen

Note that your iPhone device must be updated to iOS 16 or higher to use this solution as they support lock screen customization.

Step 1: Access the App Store, search for and download the Vạn Niên Calendar 2024 & Vietnamese Calendar app to your phone – After the download is complete, open the app to acknowledge that you have used it.

Step 2: Then, return to the lock screen, press and hold on it, and select Customize to proceed with setting up the lock screen – Choose Lock Screen.

Step 3: Choose the Add Widget box below the date and time – The Add Widget menu appears, select the Lunar Calendar Widget of the Vạn Niên Calendar app – Choose Done to complete.

After setup is complete, you can go back to the home screen to check the result. Now you can view the lunar calendar even when your phone is still locked.
