190 gr red pumpkin

200 ml formula milk

Processing method

Steam the red pumpkin

Peel and clean the red pumpkin, then cut it into pieces. If you buy pre-peeled red pumpkin, just rinse it, drain it, and cut it into pieces.

Steam the red pumpkin in a steamer pot, boil water, and steam the pumpkin until soft for about 15 minutes, then scoop the pumpkin into a bowl.

Blend the red pumpkin milk

Put the steamed pumpkin into a blender, add 200ml of pre-mixed formula milk, and blend with a hand blender or a blender until you have a thick and creamy red pumpkin milk mixture.

Pour the mixture through a sieve to filter it again, to avoid any lumps in the finished milk.

Cook the red pumpkin milk

Pour the filtered red pumpkin milk mixture into a pot to start cooking the milk. Note to adjust the heat or keep the heat low and stir continuously throughout the cooking process to avoid burning the milk.

Prepare the ingredients

Peel the red pumpkin, rinse it with water to clean it, then cut it into pieces for blending.

Peel the lotus seeds, remove the inner lotus heart, soak them in water for 1 hour to soften.

Simmer the red pumpkin and lotus seeds

Boil 200ml of water, then add the lotus seeds and red pumpkin to simmer for about 10 – 15 minutes until they are soft. Then turn off the heat, let it cool for about 5 minutes, then remove the red pumpkin and lotus seeds and keep the boiled liquid.

Blend the red pumpkin and lotus seed milk

Put the boiled red pumpkin and lotus seeds into a blender, add 200ml of the boiled liquid and blend with a hand blender until smooth.

After blending, strain the mixture through a sieve to avoid any lumps in the finished milk.
