The incense doesn’t burn and ash isn’t falling

According to the belief of our ancestors, when the incense sticks don’t burn and turn into a coil instead, it indicates spirituality and good luck. However, if all the incense sticks are turned into ash, it means that you have bought chemically treated incense, which is not spiritual. Chemical incense can also disturb the feng shui energy in your home.

If the incense is made of natural ingredients and doesn’t burn into ash, but suddenly one stick turns into ash, it indicates great spirituality. It is a sign that your ancestors are protecting and blessing your family, bringing prosperity and happiness to your life.

In folk beliefs, butterflies are believed to be the souls of the deceased. Therefore, when a butterfly flies into your house, it carries a message. If a butterfly flies in circles and lands on the incense holder, it means that the soul of a deceased loved one has transformed into a butterfly to visit their descendants. During the Lunar New Year, when descendants invite their ancestors to gather and celebrate, if a butterfly lands on the incense holder during this time, it shows that the prayers and wishes of the family have been heard and confirmed.

Keeping the incense holder clean and undamaged shows the family’s dedication to worship. When observing the family altar of a household, if the incense holder and its surrounding area are clean, it indicates that the family takes worship seriously and shows that there will be prosperity.

The family altar is a place of spirituality, so if the worship area is not clean, it shows that the worship is not spiritual because it is not done with care.
