Fashion Recycling at Miss Earth Vietnam 2023

Miss Earth Vietnam is a competition to select the representative to participate in Miss Earth – Miss Earth pageant.

In addition to the presentation about the message, the personal knowledge of the contestants about the environment, the audience will witness unique and interesting costumes made entirely from recycled materials such as nylon bags, plastic bags, plastic beads, fire-resistant paper, and scraps of fabric… The competition aims to protect the environment, protect the Earth, so the fashion shows in the competition are considered as messages that contestants bring and spread to the audience.

The semi-finals of the competition will have 10 episodes, broadcast live regularly every Tuesday and Saturday exclusively on the VieON entertainment super app and the official YouTube channel of the competition starting from September 12th. The final night will take place in Ho Chi Minh City and will be broadcast live on October 14th.

Pham Thi Yen shared: “I am very proud to wear this costume, because not only does it have the meaning of protecting the environment, but the costume is also very beautiful. This is also the way I want to tell people that recycled clothing can make you confident when standing in front of a crowd.”

Nguyen Hoai Linh revealed that her coat is made from a plastic tarpaulin sheet, while the dress is entirely made from recycled fabric… Her fashion set is colorful.
