Potato: Potato has depigmenting benefits and it also helps to lighten the pigmentation around your eyes and being anti-aging it protects against premature wrinkles. Potato contains ‘catecholase’ This is an enzyme that helps lighten the pigmentation of the skin.

Turmeric: Turmeric has depigmenting properties. It helps to lighten the under eye area as well as helps lighten the dark circles around the eyes. It contains curcumin which is the main ingredient in this that helps lighten the pigmentation and dark circles.

Things you will need:

1 small potato

½ tsp of turmeric powder

1 round cotton pad

You need to follow any regime for a longer period of time so that it shows you the effect. This mask does not show results immediately so do not be in a hurry.

Steps to make under eye pads:

– Grate the potato and squeeze out all the juice. In a bowl, add the extracted potato juice and turmeric powder and mix it well.

– Take a cotton pad and cut it into equal halves from the center. Soak the cotton in the prepared potato turmeric solution and place it under your eyes for about 15 to 20 minutes.

– After that, remove the cotton pad and massage the residue for few minutes and wash it off. Use this once in a day. You can also make this in bulk and store it in a zip lock bag in the refrigerator and use it whenever required.
