After confirming her arrival in the US to reunite with her Vietnamese-American husband, Trang Tran shared that she is currently working as a laborer at a nail salon near her house. However, many people believe that she is the owner of the nail salon rather than an employee, and even went on the personal page of the salon owner to put pressure on her. This has caused Trang Khàn to encounter difficulties. The former model expressed her frustration during a livestream: “I’ve been fired, those people are so evil! I am so stressed… I’m afraid of them, they ruined my job.
I did not say that it is my nail salon. I said that I am working as a contracted employee. They don’t believe me, they falsely accused me of lying, claiming that it is my own nail salon. Did I ever say that it is mine? I’m really in a tough situation! I’ve been fired.”
The former model further shared: “Finding a job is very difficult, why did they make me lose my job like this? Those people are so evil, they even put pressure on the Facebook of the nail salon owner, they made me quit my job. Those people don’t let me live. Now, how am I supposed to live? I was only making 20 dollars a day and I got fired.
The salon owner was nice to me, I just arrived in the US a few days ago, and they hired me because of my hard work. The other day, the salon owner even gave me 2000 dollars, saying that it’s an advance payment for my salary because I worked so diligently. And today, I got fired, what am I supposed to do now?”.
Trang Tran shared that revealing that she earns 20 dollars a day has led many people to believe that the salon owner is exploiting labor and demand legal action. However, when the former model mentioned receiving an advance payment of 2000 dollars, she was accused of tax evasion and was fired.
Previously, Trang Tran had mentioned that she had to clean for 3 hours a day without hesitation and disclosed that the wage paid was 20 dollars/day (about 480,000 VND).
“I was joking with everyone about the 20 dollars/day salary. That was just me joking around, to lighten the mood. I have 3-4 hours of free time at home. I’m not really familiar with this job, but I think if I work diligently, the salon owner will give me opportunities. I’m a laborer, making 20 dollars/day. The salon owner deducts 100 VND for me to pay taxes. Because I don’t have any diplomas to work with. I want to have some taxes deducted so that when I get old, I can still receive a pension”, Trang Tran shared.
