When using the features and services on VNeID, the application will ask you to enter the previously set passcode to authenticate and only perform when authentication is successful. However, recently, you can use Face ID or fingerprint to replace the passcode on VNeID easily thanks to this new authentication feature. Refer to how to activate below.
How to use Face ID to replace passcode on VNeID
Step 1: First, you need to check and update VNeID to the latest version (if available) > Then open the application and proceed to log in to your digital identity account.

Step 2: On the Home interface, you select the Settings item in the toolbar below > Next, you find and select the Set up alternative authentication methods instead of entering passcode item.

Step 3: At this point, you will see the Authenticate with Face ID or Authenticate with fingerprint depending on the device’s support, proceed to turn on this feature by sliding to the right and re-authenticating Face ID or fingerprint completes.
