Xà Phìn is a highland village in Phương Tiến commune, Vị Xuyên district, about 20km from Hà Giang city. It sits at the foot of the Tây Côn Lĩnh mountain range at an elevation of over 1,000m. In late September to early October, the rice fields turn a golden hue, creating a stunning landscape amidst the lush mountains.

The terraced fields of Xà Phìn stretch out like soft silk ribbons, winding around the thatched-roof houses of the local Dao ethnic people.

To witness the breathtaking rice harvest, visitors can embark on a 10km journey from Khuổi My village’s suspension bridge (in Phương Độ commune, Hà Giang city). They will traverse the eastern slope of Tây Côn Lĩnh, passing through ancient tea hills, palm forests, and winding roads.
