To register VssID for children on mobile, you need to follow these steps:

Step 1: Download VssID on your phone from CHplay or Appstore and register your VssID account (If you already have a VssID account, you can skip this step).

Step 2: Login to your VssID > Choose Application services in the application interface > Search and select Register an account for children.

Step 3: You need to enter the child’s BHXH code printed on the BHYT card, the child’s full name and then click Continue. To ensure accurate information, instead of manually entering, you can use the QR scan feature on the BHYT card. The information will be immediately synchronized and displayed on the system.

Step 4: Upload the child’s portrait photo and birth certificate photo to the system. You can choose a photo available in the phone’s photo library or take it directly through the application’s camera. Then press Continue.

Step 5: In the receiving BHXH agency section, you choose the nearest agency for the convenience of submitting the electronic transaction registration form.

Step 6: Press send to send the registration form to the chosen BHXH agency. Before sending, the system will send a commitment responsibility message and you need to confirm the information you have received. If there is no mistake, press Agree to send. In case the declared information is not accurate, press Cancel to skip and correct the information.

As soon as you press send, a notification about the receipt of your form by Vietnam’s Social Insurance Agency will be displayed. You can choose to view the form to check the information again. The result of registering VssID will be sent to the phone number and email of the parents or guardians after the system checks the information and validates them.

In addition to mobile phones, you can also use a computer to register VssID for children. In the case of children under 15 years old, parents or guardians can choose 2 registration methods:

• Register via the guardian.
• Register via the Social Insurance Portal.

Registering VssID for children through the guardian

The detailed instructions below on how to register VssID for children through the guardian include the following steps:

Step 1: Access the website Vietnam Social Insurance Portal then on the homepage, select Login. The screen will immediately switch to the Social Insurance Portal login interface.

Step 2: When the login box appears, choose Individual and enter the following information: Username; Password; Enter the verification code. Note that Username is the BHXH code of the parent or guardian for the registered child. Then press Login.

Step 3: After successfully logging in, click on the arrow next to the display name in the upper right corner of the screen and select Register for children. At this point, you choose form 01 to fill out the information for registering electronic transactions for individuals under 18 years old.

Step 4: Click Chọn (Select) for the list of Social Insurance agencies to be displayed and select the agency you want to register. Press Enter to save the information and the system will automatically export the registration form in the form of a PDF file according to form 01 and send the information to the registered BHXH agency. Once the system has successfully received the form, you will receive a notification via text message or email.

Step 5: When you have completed the above steps online, you need to bring the child’s Birth Certificate and ID card/passport to the nearest BHXH agency to complete the process of registering electronic transactions with the Social Insurance Agency.

How to register VssID for children through the Social Insurance Portal is detailed below:

Step 1: Access the website of the Vietnam Social Insurance Portal > Select Register to switch to the registration screen on the Social Insurance Portal.

Step 2: Choose the registration target as Individual and then click Next to continue with the following steps. Step 3: Fill in the electronic transaction registration information for individuals under 18 years old according to form 01. Then click Choose to display the list of Social Insurance agencies and select the nearest or most convenient BHXH agency for you to register your profile.

Step 4: Press Save and then the system will automatically export form 02 as a PDF file and send the registration information to the chosen BHXH agency. When the system has successfully received the declaration, you will receive a notification via text message or email.

Step 5: You need to bring the child’s Birth Certificate and ID card/passport to the nearest BHXH agency to complete the registration process.

Some notes when registering VssID for children

When bringing documents such as Birth Certificates, ID cards/passports to the Social Insurance Agency to complete the registration process, you do not need to print the registration form, just provide the document number sent to the phone number for the insurance officer.
