Cut a small segment at the top of the milk carton to facilitate water drainage.

Fill the carton with the soaked mung beans.

Daily, submerge the carton in a basin of water for about five minutes, and then drain the water through the outlets.

Keep the carton in a cool, well-ventilated area.
