Step 1: Access Settings on your iPhone > Go to the Messages app > Press Data at the Check section.

Step 2: At this point, you can choose 2 options which are Limit or Full.

  • If you choose Limit option, it will include the current location as well as details about the pin and network signal for iPhone and Apple Watch.
  • If you choose Full option, it will include all limited data along with the previously traveled route and the last unlocked location of the iPhone as well as the detached location of Apple Watch.

Notice: The message location sharing feature on iPhone only applies to devices running iOS 17.
